Realm of Tranquility has been a locally-founded charitable organization since 1978, with an objective of "Encouragement of Good Deeds"; it was thereafter registered under the Charities Act of Singapore.

Its activities include distributing daily provisions to the needy at the one-room flats, providing weekly free medical services to the senior citizens' homes and housing estates by way of mobile free clinic. In order to cheer up the lonely souls in the senior citizens' homes, Karaoke sessions are specially presented to kick out their sorrows and loneliness.

The Realm of Tranquility TCM Centre was established in November 2003 at Rochor Centre. It has a seminar room, a Free Clinic and an office.
